Ryan Hope

Ryan Hope spins compelling, sonically driven narratives filled with vivid characters and striking imagery, a combination that has earned him many high-profile admirers, ranging from premium brands to music icons. He’s directed commercials for Absolut Vodka, Coca-Cola, NHTSA, StubHub, Hugo Boss, Guinness, and Prada, and music videos for Lorde, Sam Smith, Zayn Malik, The Kooks, 2 Chainz, Pharrell Williams, and Disclosure, among others. Infusing projects with abstract touches and bold looks, Hope’s style is both unique and universally appealing. His longer form work includes feature documentary “Skin,” an underground hit that featured the work of Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, and Raymond Pettibon commissioned for Dasha Zhukova’s Garage Magazine.

An avid music producer, Hope creates the sound designs and music compositions for his projects. He's a member of the gospel-soul trio Gabriels, which was founded after Hope came together with bandmates Jacob Lusk and Ari Balouzian to create music for a commercial. After releasing just five songs in 2021, the group grabbed the attention of Rolling Stone and the music industry, garnering praise from the likes of Elton John and Harry Styles. Gabriel’s debut album dropped October 2023 to critical acclaim, furthering their meteoric ascent.
